Bio:

Niall has made his name as a free agent Wizard who has made his name primarily by taking vengeance for crimes against Eladrin and the Feywild. He has fought and won against a lot of Shadowfell enemies and spent time on other planes during his adventures, including the Feywild, Arvandor, Shadowfell, The Far Realm and the Elemental Chaos. He is an expert in planar lore, and has many servants (his summons) who have joined his cause for one reason or another. In his exploits, Niall has traveled the breadth of the Nentir Vale. He has put down the kobold uprising near Winterhaven, thwarted the renegade mage Paldemar at Thunderspire and escaped the extradimensional prison called The Pyramid of Shadows. His exploits are the subject of song in the many drinking establishments throughout the Valley. One song speaks of the unfinished business; the most notable of the few foes that lived to escape their encounter is Mobgob Orc Warlord. Their encounter at Fastormel and again on the shores of Lake Nen is legendary among the folk of Nenlast. About a year ago a strange thing occurred while embattled with the powerful Rakshasa, Meghraj. Niall and his companions delved into Thunderspire to confront this dreadful threat only to find them overmatched. The climactic encounter found Niall and Celeres, a Erathian Paladin, standing among their fallen companions. At the most dire moment Niall made a desperate gamble and summoned beyond his normal limits. Through some stroke of fate a Deva was drawn from another plane. She awoke instantly and, seemingly recognizing her foe, engaged the Rakshasa. The blinding radiance of the angel of vengeance decimated her ancient foe. Though distant and unengaging the Deva revealed her name as Leenah and helped gather the bodies of Niall’s fallen companions. Armed with damning evidence Celeres, Niall and Leenah hasten back to Fallcrest. There the Paladin exposed corruption within his own temple of Erathis, only to be slain by assassins and the evidence stolen before it was fully reviewed. His body was unceremoniously left at Knights Gate for the morning watch. As a companion of Celeres at the declaration of the evidence, the temple ran Leenah out of Fallcrest on a rail. Despite Niall’s vehement protestations without the evidence his words fell upon deaf ears. Only through the sponsorship of Nimozaran the Wizard was Niall able to remain in the city. Leenah has not been seen since. The next ten months kept Niall very busy between his newly formed company and his tumultuous relationship with Almarath. Together with their new companions they explored the dark forces within the extradimensional pyramid prison. This encounter took every ounce of Niall’s power to prevent the mad tiefling wizard, Karavokos, from escaping the prison. The party narrowly averted imprisonment after thwarting the evil wizard. With increasing frequency, Niall’s mentor Agarillion has appeared to him in dreams. The Eladrin wizard portends of an ancient threat and the reforging of an ancient pact. The common message is to “follow the path”. Research with an eye toward this ancient thread has turned up little save folklore and imaginings. Due some downtime, Niall and Almarath lived life with an intensity unmatched. Their exploits nearly matched their deeds of heroism in the minds of the locals. The intensity eventually split the two lovers apart for some time. It was during this hiatus that Lord Kamroth came to Niall with news of a dire threat; giants had attacked Winterhaven and no word has been heard since. The time has come to assemble a new host of heroes to put down this new threat.
